Does anyone know how the Bi-Pod stud mount kit works? I have a MK4 rail and based on the image on Geissele's site I don't see how it works. Looking to mount a harris bipod but wanted to avoid a clunky picatinny adapter if I can.

Get a Mk8 and add a M-LOK bipod mount.

They were OOS on the mk8 so I bought the mk4. Not an option right now.

The bipod stud was meant to be used with the MK1 and MK3 rails.

I just got a generic sling stud with a backer plate, then modified the backer for it to work

The stud will also work with MK2 rails and HK rails.

There's a sling stud with a short threaded portion on it and a rubber washer. You use one of the rail attachment nuts that comes with the rail and you thread the stud into it, sandwiching the rail and washer between them. I used a small screwdriver through the hole in the stud to apply torque to get it tight.
