I installed a Tricon trigger. The second stage feels like mush, like squishing a blueberry in the receiver.
My other Geissele triggers are top shelf stuff - SSA, SSAE, HSNM, G2S.... I haven't shot the gun yet, but out of the baggie and into the gun, all of my other triggers were perfect. Any ideas?

| I would pull the safety out first to make sure nothing is rubbing back there. Then pull the hammer out and check that the trigger isn't rubbing anywhere else. If it isn't do the opposite, leaving the hammer in. If none of that shows anything pull the FCG out and swap it with one of our others if you wouldn't mind to see if the problem is replicated among multiple triggers in the same receiver. |

I actually took my HSNM out of the gun to put this in and try it. The HSNM functioned perfectly with the factory safety. I put the Tricon in to try as the JP safety does NOT work with Geissele adjustable triggers. The feeling is the same with no safety installed. When the trigger is pulled through the second stage, the break is somewhere in there, but you don't 'feel' it. There's just a mushy resistance and a clang from the hammer smacking the firing pin. I'll play parts mixmaster when I get a chance later today and see what works and what doesn't. I have a few empty receivers I can drop things into. |
