[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Rail differences?

I was searching around and couldn't find too much info on the difference between some of the rails. I understand what the MK1 is and the some of the newer rails, but what is the difference between the MK2 and MK3? Also what are the different mods? For example today I bought a MK2 MOD 0, how does that differ from a MOD 1?

I can't help you since I'm also unfamiliar with all of them, but I would normally recommend just checking the rails out on their site and comparing. However... the Rail section on their site isn't working right now.

The MOD 1 has circle cuts on the bottom whereas the MOD 0 has tear drop like cuts on the bottom. The MK2 has flat surfaces at the 3,6, and 9 positions while the mk3 rail has a radius or curved surface at the 3,6, and 9 positions.
