Just wondering if both the BAD-ASS-SA, and BAD-CASS-SA will both work with the Mega Tactical Trigger?
I have been told the BAD-ASS will but want to hear it from you about both before I pull the trigger on one of these units. I like the BAD-CASS, so I really hope it will work with that model. Thank you. |

We have not tested with Mega's trigger, but have seen pictures of both the trigger and our selector installed on receivers, and we have not had reports of incompatibility issues with Mega's triggers. We have a good working relationship with Mega, so we would have heard from either our customers or Mega if there was any.
As long as Mega's trigger doesn't deviate too much from milspec, it will work just fine Thus far, the triggers we identified as needing fitting all have a common theme: their rear extension is more elevated than milspec. Copied from this thread The problem we identified with the AR Gold trigger was the trigger's rear extension is too tall. The trigger's rear extension interfaces with the selector's middle, flat section. Our middle, flat section measures 0.240, a cast selector's mid flat section is about 0.230. The milspec is taller than both of these. We've reduced the center diameter couple of times to make it more compatible with aftermarket triggers that deviate from Colt specs, in the case of the AR Gold trigger, it's just too much. Below, left is my receiver with an RRA trigger, hammer uncocked. Right is an AR Gold trigger, hammer uncocked.
The trigger's rear "tang" is super elevated, and can cause problems with either the 45 or 90 degree selector. Our warranty is life time, unconditional, and refund policy is 100%, including shipping |

Ok, so for anyone interested the Mega Tactical Trigger DOES work with the BAD-ASS. I ended up not getting the BAD-CASS as I really liked the crank levers and there was not an option for those with the CASS.
Very, very nice product and super easy to install. My AR is now complete. Heading to the range on Sunday to put it through some live fire. Thank you B.A.D., now I know why everyone talks so highly about these safety's. |
