After installing and owning several of the regular BAD ASS, I installed a FDE one on my LaRue Lower last night....well tried anyway.  I had to hammer it into the lower because the FDE coating made it too thick to get it in any other way.  This same lower had a black one installed no problem.

After i got the levers attached I had to force it back and forth about 100 times before I could move it with my thumb.  Its working, but its still so stiff I cant flip it with my thumb and have it engage or disengage, if that makes sense.  Its on a paper shooting rifle, so I will leave it, but if it were a work gun, there is no way I would feel comfortable leaving it on.  I love your guys' stuff....has anyone else mentioned this?

Thanks!

It can happen.  The coating does make it tiny bit thicker  Of the Cerakoted selectors we've sold, only two or three had tolerance issues with their receivers. Please email me with your shipping info and I will send you a parkerized center to replace it

Thanks so much!  I appreciate it.....If you think this one will loosen up, I don't mind working with it.

It will, but it's Cerakote and very durable so it'll take a long time to wear in  It'll most likely work just fine in another receiver, probably even in another LaRue receiver

This can happen when the selector hole in the receiver is on the plus side of the tolerance.  We've seen this happen with LMT and Colt, neither would prompt me to think anything would be out of spec.  At times even the factory selector is tight on them, so this can and does happen occasionally.
