As outlined in previous posts, the new and all future production kits will include a high quality detent and higher quality T10 Torx wrench.  We have not received the Torx wrenches yet, but we did receive the KNS Precision stainless steel detents

An old detent for comparison

These KNS Precision detents are very nice, they appear to beat the ones supplied by many AR15 manufacturers.  These KNS stainless steel detents are the best we found  This is one of the aspects we can't control, if it happens with our selector, chances are very good it'll do the same with any other new or different selector that's new to the host weapon.

An old and misshapen detent can cause the rotation to feel gritty, a worn detent that's mated to the old selector can have sloppy lock up.  This is one of the aspects we can't control, if it happens with our selector, chances are very good it'll do the same with any other new or different selector that's new to the host weapon.

For existing customers, if your existing detent is giving you problems, please email me, [email protected] and I will send one (or the number of selectors you have bought from us) to you at no charge.

If your existing detent works fine, it does not need to be replaced
