Looking at the possibility of calling in an order for a Lightweight Tactical Kit with some (well, a lot of, actually) customization sometime in the next 2 months.  Do the barrels have good availability, or are they in short supply due to being sort of a specialty part?

We just got in a batch of those barrels and they are starting the process.  They should be ready to start assembling and shipping in roughly 4 weeks.  I can't say how long they'll stay available.
