We are getting bogged down with status update requests.  In our general email box, we're averaging roughly 500 status emails per day, not counting our individual email boxes, and unless we stop answering phones, shipping, and building, we can't possibly keep current on answering all of these emails at this time.  We are answering all the emails that we can, but for every one that we answer we get 10 new ones wanting the same information on theirs.  I'll start adding to this post with what barrels we will be shipping on backorders.  This is not a list of what is in stock for new orders, this is only what we have to fill backorders.

As of now the only thing that we have updates on ETA's is 16" 1x9 twist Gov't Profile M-4 barrels, which are coming in pretty regularly.  All other barrels are in the works, but they can't give me ETA's on them right now.  We are very backlogged on all 16" HBAR, 16" LW,  20", & the chrome lined versions of those.  The chromers are several months behind right now, so anything chrome lined is going to be pushed back as well.

As I get more info in I'll let everyone know here.

Thanks,

Jesse

I was just a little curious, my order# 3887...any idea on the waiting period?

"J&T 16" Expedition Kit"

[#7]
Expeditions fall into the small run category, they will be a while.  After the barrels show up, then the barrels have to go out to be ported.  So after the barrels show up we're still looking at 6-8 weeks for porting, sight towers, and parking.

I'd like to edit my order if it will make it get here faster.  The order number is 3749.  Should be a flattop upper with 24 inch plain bull barrel.  Can I change to the Badger handguards in order to speed it up?  Understand that will increase the cost and I'm good with that.  The coyotes are getting away out here in Eastern Colorado!

I scanned and sent a file of my Army ID to [email protected].  Was that received?

Thanks.

Does that include chrome lined gov't profile M-4 barrels?

Right now everything is pushed back a week at least, we are still without power to date and cannot do anything to process or ship orders currently.

I am putting together some of Jesse's posts so there is a spot that has it all compiled.

the only thing that we have updates on ETA's on are:

1x9 twist, non-chrome, 4140, standard feed ramps, standard sight tower, threaded muzzle, with bayonet lug and gov't profile

We are very backlogged on all 16" HBAR, 16" LW, 20", & the chrome lined versions of those.

I added some emphasis to several points...

Big response on the Badger Ordnance HG upgrade, we've ran out of the rifle length.  We just got power back on at the shop so we should start shipping everything tomorrow, but are a few days behind our previous schedule.

Hey Jesse
Great news on getting your power back. I have been reading on the net as well as listening to the news. You guys got slammed big time. I hope that all is well with all the employees of J&T.

Did you get those M4 ramped upper recievers back yet?
Thanks!

I was helping shipping all day and we shipped out a new record number of packages for a single day!  What I primarily saw going out were std. DS-4's, chrome lined fluted HBAR's, and I think some standard HBAR's as well.  We'll be continuing to build and ship for as long as we have parts and power.  We did get a couple of inches of snow, but so far nothing of consequence.

Do you guys ship items that are on stock or do you go by order #? I ordered a Harris bi-pod, just curious.

Quite simply, when I posted my reply, I stated then that would be the only comments that I make on that matter.  I do not read the thread, I have talked with Chris and he knows the situation.  As soon as I have a more solid ETA, I will update him, until then I have guestimation of starting to ship within the next 30 - 60 days.  I will talk directly with the customer that has the order in place, not everyone that has an order with him.  If you have issues with that buy then you need to address that with Chris, as he is who has the order in with me.  Currently we are trying to take care of all of our customers, not just certain ones.  As parts come in, parts go out.  We fill orders based on order date, I can not mysteriously pull parts from a hat.

You should have interest in a vendor that you have an order with that does not fulfill his obligations to customers.

It looks to me like Jesse pretty well described his side. It looks like the whole situation needs to be handled between the principals of the transaction. In the mean time, this thread is exactly that. To have non principal purchasers posting things that have nothing at all to do with any other transaction just gets in the way. I respect that there are hard feelings here, it just seems to me that Jesse is bending over backwards to try to fix it. Part of the reason I put my order through JT was because of his responses and attitude on this forum.

We never approved that group buy so deal with it on 1919a4.com, not here. I've gone through enough baloney with group buys that I actually approved, this site is not going to get in the middle of someone else's problems.

I was reading through this thread and wanted to inquire on the status of the standard A2 20" chrome bbl kits (less lower receiver).  Are you two months behind in shipping these orders or are the chrome 20" bbls still 2 months out before you receive them?  I have order numbers 3368 and 3370 placed in late November; both are standard 20" A2 parts kits with chrome-lined barrles.  At this time what is your best estimate of a ship date?  Thank you in advance for your consideration.

azlester:  No, we did not make it to your order yet, we lost over a quarter of the flattops due to incorrectly drilled forward assist pin holes.  We have more at the coaters now, but I don't have the ETA on when they'll be in house.

I've got some LW barrels that are ready to go to park in the next barrel box, so it will be roughly 2-3 weeks before they come back and are ready to start building.

I'll have to wait until I get to the shop to look up those order numbers.  If you received a confirmation email your order should have been submitted.  I'm not sure what's going on with the login, I'll have to let the webmaster look into it.

Darkgun, I don't have an ETA on 20" Chrome Lined barrels right now, but I do have some 18" chrome lined barrels available if that might be of interest.

MikeDef, looks like we have you down for a 1x7 twist DS-4 complete upper.  We are currently waiting for the LW FF rail HG, but have the solid version's available, and if you wanted to switch to the 1x9, it would be sooner, probably around 3-4 weeks.

Jesse,

I was hoping you might shed some light on my ETA. I placed the order 03-DEC-08 through Shadow River Prod

The order is 3 complete kits without stripped lowers:

1 x  DoubleStar Stainless Bull Barrel Kit 24" Barrel Twist 1:8

1 x DoubleStar 16" Carbine

1 x DoubleStar 20" Rifle

No options other than removable carry handles for the rifle and carbine. Would it be a good idea to try to change the 24" bull barrel length? That doesn't really matter to me. What is in stock?

Any word on the mid-length? I'd change the carbine to that in a second if it was available.

I appreciate you taking time to post here even when you are so busy.

They do have several orders in with us, but we are still processing orders placed weeks before theirs, so it will still be a while before we make it down to their orders.  At this time there probably isn't anything that would help speed up the process.  We're on almost all of the barrels that are on that list.  We do have a few of the midlength barels available, they could ship in roughly 4-6 weeks.

Hi Jesse,

I know I'm  way back in the line, but I wanted to let you guys know that I'd be willing to modify parts and pieces on my build (barrels, handguards, grips) if it makes the order go through faster. That way you get paid faster and I get my new boom stick.

My order number is 3904 and was placed 1/24/09.

Thanks!!!
