[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Barrels

I am going to be ordering a kit from J&T in the next week or so and was wondering about barrels. I have heard it said many times that barrel availability is a major problem now. Is there one or two barrels that are the biggest problems at the moment? Will one type be easier to get eventually or are they all equally problematic? How flexible can you be with barrels in kits?

The common barrels that everyone wants are the hardest to come by right now, but as others go out of stock they will take longer to get back in stock. We are getting more of the common barrels in than any others, but there are also the largest backorders on those barrels. Best bet would be to pick what you want, and have the note added will substitute barrel for these choices if needed.

It seems like a lot of the govt. profile barrels are shipping. Any news on the lightweight (A-1) profile barrels?
