Hey, no worries, I was just wondering on the possible wait/shipping date on a DS-4 Kit I ordered. Here's the invoice number:

12737

Thanks, keep up the good work.

Oh, and vote BUSH today.

I took your info in and forgot to get the results.  I'll try to get that taken care of tomorrow.

Hey, Jesse. I called and talked to Judy today (11/05). She said....

"We've got the barrels, but we still need to send them to the 'platers'. It should
be about two weeks."

Just a few questions about this:

1) By "platers" did she mean to get the barrels chrome-lined (because I ordered a chrome-lined barrel)?

2) By two weeks, did she mean that that would be when you would mail it out, or that's when I would get it?

NOTE: I'm assuming that she meant that that's when the kit  will be sent out as I opted for just regular UPS shipping.

Final question: how long does regular UPS shipping usually take?

Thanks.

And, again, I'm looking forward to getting the kit and I appreciate all of your help.

When we say platers we mean the coaters to get parkerized.  The barrels just showed up today, so they have to be drilled and sight towers installed, then get coated.  We're hoping to get most of those ready Monday or Tuesday, then ~ a week turn around for coating and then logging them back in and assembling, so 2 weeks should be about right before they are ready to ship.  Ground shipping to UT generally takes 4-6 days (barring any UPS "oops we delivered it to Maine instead" fiascos).

Thanks Jesse.

Oh, one final, stupid thing:

I need an extra (in addition to the ones in the kit) 1) bolt catch spring 2) bolt catch detent, and 3) bolt catch roll pin.

I forgot to add this to my kit order.

Should I just call Judy again and order them via credit card?

The stupid thing about this, is that calling Judy via your order line (toll free), and with the credit card processing fee, me ordering them will probably cost you guys more than these three small parts are worth.

But, tell me how I'd go about getting these three extra parts. I'll call with the credit card number if you think that's the best, fastest way, to get these sent at the same time/with the kit.

Let me know, and...

Thanks again.

I just added a request/questions to my post above. BTT.

The easiest thing would be just to call in Monday and add those to your order.

Thanks Jesse.

And if I haven't said it before, I really appreciate how much time you spend on-line answering people's questions (including mine).

I'll leave you alone now, and I'll look for the kit via UPS in two or three weeks.

No problem, I wish I had more to spend.
