I just built a couple of JT kits on RRA lowers and I noticed that the safety selector isnt flush with the lower on either kit. Is this normal or is something wrong?
The saftey seems to function fine I was just wondering.

Sounds like its normal, there's typically a small gap underneath the "lever" side and the lower. At one point in time I knew the reason for that, but I can't recall it right now.

Its made like that so you wont scratch up your receiver everytime you use the selector, also it provides a smoother feel .
