I saw the post about the 1" OD Light Mount-N-Slot not working with the Samson Evolution due to the radiused bottom of the mount and the Evolution's flat mounting surfaces. Has this been addressed at all? I have a Samson Evolution mount inbound and would love a IWC light mount of some sort.
The other possibility I see is using a TMC 1" OD Mount-N-Slot (ejection side) and mount is to the side of the rail. I just don't know if the TMC mounting holes line up with the Evolutions Mounting holes. Does anyone know this? Can you tell me how far apart the mounting holes in the TMC are? Thanks. |

You didn't miss anything. I am wanting to be as minimal as I can. I would rather have a light mount directly instead of attaching a rail and then a mount. Just the kind of thing IWC specializes in, yes? Just trying to find the right product.
