Unfortunately, I live behind the lines in CT.  That means living with the AWB, and being cut out of the AR market, except for pre-bans (for now).  While we can sell buy/sell pre-ban ARs, they must be treated as AWs, with all the ban's restrictions on when and were they can be used and possessed.  So, the Troy PAR interests me.

I have read a number of reviews, both on-line and in print, that claim that the PAR is a bit less accurate then a true AR.   Can anyone elaborate on this?

Thanks!

I have found my PAR as accurate if not more accurate than most AR's I have shot, as good as most any bolt rifle, if the trigger is upgraded. It will also produce a faster fps and pressure than a comparable length AR because of no bleed-off to operate the action. Mine is a tack driver. If you reload, I'd rebarrel so you didn't have to deal with the fluted brass.
