| How long has everyone been waiting on there Troy Chasis stock? Ordered mine back in March. |
|
I ordered a Troy Chassis T-22 Tactical In mid April, it was supposed to be in stock.
The next day I got an email saying it was back ordered & to call in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, was told 8 weeks. Then July.....Okay, I understand the wait. Then 2 weeks ago, I was told it was in "final assembly" & would ship the 1st week of July. Today I was told it was listed as "back ordered" & to call back in 2 weeks. Not too happy with the change in responses. |
| Our website doe NOT have live up to date inventory at this time. We are changing our operating systems and it will change our website in the fall. I apologize for the ETA's but, that is the only information we get from the Manufacturing department. We only have X amount of machines to machine the rails, coat, and laser. Then they have to change the machines for the different products. |

If I were you I'd cancel the order and buy a product from another manufacturer (see threads above this one). I've thought about it, but the order was for my son, as part of his birthday present. I am really rethinking it though, especially since I just got off the phone with Troy, in order to find the status of it. They had absolutely no information on when it even might come in. Sad that a company can't even give a time estimate on a part that was listed as "in stock", when ordered 5 months ago. |

I apologize for the inconvenience. I don' have one to send you. I'm Sorry. Did we charge your card yet? We only have so many machines. I have you tried any other distributors or vendors that might have one? Someone may have one in inventory still.
Due to a dramatic increase in orders, it is difficult for us to estimate stock status or delivery times of our products. We are continuously increasing production and ship products as they become available. All orders will be charged only when products are ready to be shipped. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience. |

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience. When I ordered it, back in mid April, it was listed as "in stock". I got the order confirmation too. The next day I got an email saying it was back ordered. I called a few days later to ask how long & was told 6-8 weeks. Those weeks came & went. I called again & was told the 1st week of July. After the 2nd week of July passed, I called...was told a few came in, but they didn't have the foam packing for it, but if I sent a email saying it was okay to ship without the special foam & with bubble wrap, they would send it out. I did that. The next day, they call me & tell me it was the wrong chassis that came in. It was the cheaper one, but they asked if I wanted that one instead. I said "no" (as they told me it would be just a few more weeks). I then called around the 2nd week of August & was told it would be another 6-8 weeks. They also asked if I wanted to give them my credit card info again, since it was a) coming in soon & b) after 30 days, if an order hasn't come in, the cc info is wiped. So I gave them the cc info. Now when I called yesterday...the woman in the sales dept told me she had "no idea" when it would come in. Now you say to try "any other distributors or vendors that might have one"...WTF?? Can you tell me who else makes a chassis like the T-22 tactical? If you can, please let me know, as I will buy it from them instead. I thought Troy products were good. I thought Troy was honorable. I thought Troy stood behind their products. Please proof my right. tl;dr.....placed order for in stock item....was then continuously given the run around...now told to look elsewhere by Troy. |

Sir,
I'm trying to help you. I don't know when the new ones will be in. I asked you to try a different distributor because you keep asking about it and I don't have an answer. I'm trying to find a solution for you to get one. I don't have one in the building. Our website does not show any inventory levels. We are in the middle of changing that. We are converting to an entire new sales and website software. The bottom line is I don't have one to provide you with. I have no ETA from Manufacturing department. My ext. is 135. I will be more than happy to direct you to the manufacturing department to talk to them. Once again I apologize. I can't ship you something we don't have. |
| The chassis arrived today. Box was intact, but it was rattling around in it's box. After opening it just a few minutes ago with my son, we could see some scuff marks & some areas where the finish looks worn. The chassis was not wrapped in any plastic or anything, just placed into the cardboard cut out in the box where it rattled around. I'll post pictures later tonight. |

They must have skimped on the packaging on this shipment. I purchased mine summer of '12 and it came in the box but there was thick egg she'll foam on both sides. |

Yeah, it was for my son...part of a birthday present. I ordered it back in April. It was moving around in the box, didn't even have a plastic bag over it, so it was rubbing on the cardboard & the 2 hex keys & 1 screw that were loose in the box ( there were in separate bags though). No packing foam at all. We're going to look at it again in more detail today. To say my son was disappointed would be a big understatement. |

Just thinking about the lack of foam packing. Back in July when I called, I was told they had a few in stock but they didn't have the foam packing, it was delayed for a few weeks.
I was told that if I wanted one, I would have to send an email stating that I would not hold Troy responsible for any damage in shipping. I was told they would at least bubble wrap it & take some precautions, so I sent the email...that was back in mid July. Then I received an email back saying they were sorry, it wasn't the Tactical Chassis, it was the Extreme Chassis & asked if I wanted that one instead. I replied "no" we would wait for the tactical chassis. I didn't think that 3 months latter, when they finally came in, Troy would just throw it in a box with no foam or bubble wrap or any type of protection. |
