It's very possible, I've done it several times. I use a long skinny screwdriver with a wad of tape on the end to hold the backer in place while I start the screws.

Can a full length rail be installed on the bottom of the tube?

13" and 11" TRX extremes are a fast moving items and when we finish a batch they sometimes only last on the shelf a few days.
