I have a chrome Daniel Defense BCG that I'd like to put in my V11. Do I need to check the headspace if I switch one DD BCG with another?

Curious what DD's take is, but I wouldn't worry about it. I've swamped BCM carriers/bolts before with no issues.

100% of our barrels are inspected for proper headspacing.  This occurs during the barrel manufacturing process.  It's actually pretty complicated to explain and even I don't fully understand it.  What I can say is that you should be safe swapping bolts so long as your bolt is spec.

Sounds like I'll be just fine then. I'm just switching the stock black DD BCG with a DD chrome BCG. As a side note, you guys should start etching the DD logo on your chrome BCGs, I was surprised to see it wasn't on there. Love the BCG though, so easy to clean.
