These will be extremely hard to find.  Kind of like a unicorn.  We stopped selling lowers on Dec 20th, 2010.

We only have the production capacity to produce enough to keep up with rifle production.

Crap I just ordered a complete upper. I didn't know they stopped selling stripped lowers. I guess that upper is going back.

They have mil contracts.  As soon as those expire or they lose to another company, they'll make sell lowers again.

Why not just look out for lightly used DD lowers on EE?  I have a couple DD lowers lightly used I'm considering parting ways with in the near in future so I know they can be had...

I think he's referring to DD resources being geared towards fulfilling military contracts (RIS II) followed by complete rifles for the civilian markets. For the time being I guess it wouldn't benefit DD to focus on lower sales.
