| I just ordered a 14.5 pinned carbine stripped upper and was wondering what kind of turnaround time people were getting. This is not a complaint, I am just curious. The 14.5 pinned to 16 pic thread got the best of me. |

I lost my patience right around the 4 month mark but I figured if I waited this long it would be a waste to give up. Also it doesn't help that the guy is notoriously hard to get a hold of. Check out this thread. Personally If I could do it again I would cancel and spend a little more and go the BCM route.

| Well, after a little more research I canceled my order and of course I'm still waiting for a refund. I'm well before any kind of chargeback time limit but based on what I read I wouldn't be surprised if I end up having to do just that. I then placed an order from Rainier who seemed actually happy to have the business. |

I guess I spoke too soon. Shortly after posting my previous message, I get an email from Tommy apologizing for the delay. He also sent the tracking information and offered me free goodies for my patience. I can tell he really feels bad about this whole situation and is doing whatever he can to make things right. For that, he gets the thumbs up from me. Op, sorry to hear about your order. Like you, I also ordered a 14.5 lw upper but with a rail. If it took this long for mine I don't know if you should really of kept your order anyway. The best thing to do is to call him and see what's up. Well I'm not gonna hijack your thread any further. | I'm glad you got your order. I'm also glad I asked, should have done more research before buying but thats the way it goes sometimes. The discount wasn't that great having to pay state tax anyway so I didn't lose much by canceling. Its good to hear peoples' experiences, maybe it'll help someone else decide if they want to do business with the guy. |
