Hey fellas,
Is there markings on the gun that tell you which model / version the gun is? There is a couple of DDM4's at my local gun shop and i want to see what models they have. This will be my first AR and i think i'm leaning towards a Daniel Defense even though he keeps trying to push Rock River Arms on me. Thanks in advanced!. |

Ask the dealer look on the original box, or his paperwork and tell you. That's his job and he should know what he is selling.
Besides he obvioulsy isn't a friend if he is pushing RRA to you instead of DD. NO real friend would ever do that. LOL If he wont get you the accurate model than take pic and post it here, one of us can ID it. Also spend some time on DD's website and even print off some of the model description and pics and take it with you. Knowledge is power! |

It was a DDM4 V4. 16" barrel (had no markings on it like the barrel ID link posted on the sticky), he didn't know if it was a mid-length gas system, no front or rear sights (plan on getting a nice set of flip buis ), 9" Omega rail. $1179....I bought it!
It was strange, they kept trying to push everything but the Daniel Defense on me (S&W MP, RRA, LMT...). The LMT Defender was nice. It was a $100 more but i knew i'd be switching the rail out and taking the front fixed sights off of a gun can be a little tricky for a newbie like myself. Picking it up Sunday. I still have a little dough left over for BUIS and optics.
