| Your product line is becoming more impresive and insightful each time I swing by your website. I'm looking to upgrade my duty carbine. Any plans to come out with a light weight Mid-Length without a rail so that I can equip it with a Magpul MOE handguard? Or possibly a light weight or gov profile Mid-Length gas Dissipator with a rifle length Magpul MOE handguard? If so any one of these would really get my attention and eventually my hard earned money. |

Obviously I don't work for DD, but I seriously doubt that they'd build something that narrow.
Have you thought about building it?

Bolt Carrier Group Add a delta ring, end cap, Gas Tube, and a Muzzle device and you're in business. Drop it on a lower and you've got a gun. It's not as good as the whole rifle right from DD but it's built the way you want. |

I understand the factory built reasoning. Glad your dept has it.
I think it'll be a while before that is a production gun. Have you thought about the V3 rifle? It's a middy made in a LW configuration. It's only $100 more than the XVM and you're getting a $320 Omega X rail already on it. Only 3oz of weight difference, and that's before you add the rail section to the MOE. Anyway, hope you find something to fit the bill. |
