I liked the pics of the slick sided DD rails shown at Shot 2010

When are we gonna get to see these and the new forearm grip?

What are they made of?

Will we be able to readily attach rails ?

I know nothing about it, but judging by the screw holes in the forearm they most likely accept rails.

Hoping that the final version threaded holes will allow the attachment of rails in the 11 and 1 O'clock
positions as well as the 12,6,3 & 9 O'clock

I do have to say thought, they're probably great, but they are the ugliest handguards I've ever seen

They might be ugly but then again they might be ergonomic as all get out...

I've noticed in life that there are women,horses,and dogs like that

True. But you gotta admit, DD makes stuff some people consider "ugly", like the DDM4, which I think is sexy, esp considering I understand it's use. In fact, it's so sexy I bought one.

Agree 100%

DD has some outstanding folks providing technical expertise learned and earned on the battlefield...no doubt about it.
