I'm interested in trying my hand at a Service Rifle match. I'd like to buy an upper to fit onto my RR varmint lower. Does Rock River offer a discount on these or can anyone point me to a nice used one?

Yes they do.

All you need to do is show up at Camp Perry during the National Matches, and buy one.
Upper was 600, and the full blown A2 match gun was 900 last year.

USRifleteams.com is THE web site for Service Rifle.  I've learned a lot there.

I saw a White Oak service rifle upper listed there today with just over 500 rounds on it.  Posted by a pistol shooter who is giving up rifle.

Fortunate for you that Camp Perry is in your home state.
