I ordered me a Chrome BCG from the RRA web site Monday. Going to put it in my Elite Operator. They used to come with it, but now come with a standard BCG   Is anyone running the chrome BCG? iThis will be my first. How do you like it compared to the standard?
Hopefully they are not too back ordered on this item and I will get it soon.

I will post some pics and my review when it gets in..

Oh and by the way the Elite Operator, which I have had for less than a week and shot for the first time yesterday, is one of the best shooting AR's I have owned. I was hitting less than a 1" group at 100 yards with only an Eotech..

Chromed carriers are generally a long lead time item these days...oneof th ereasons thay had to be pu;;ed from the Operator-2s over a year ago (the special ended Nov 30, 2012..but we're still buildig the last of the back ordered Op-2s).  The situationis improving a bit, but only slowly as we have a lt of back orders for the chromed carriers (both as components in rifles and uppers as well as individual parts)to fill (in date order) with those that are coming in .
I'll let soemone else comment on their results/finding/opinions.
Thanks.

I have over 2500 rounds on the Chrome bcg that came with my EO2
The carrier and bolt still look new, some very light wear on the gas key.

An NP3 option would be even better..

I got the free chrome BCG on my Elite Operator. This was back when they were $950 and speedy built. I know the demand has gone way up so obviously timeframe has to be adjusted. The RRA cleans really well and has held up great. My RRA shoots all ammo and is incredibly accurate. No complaints here.
