I replied yesterday, but have no idea what happened to it.
There are subtle differences between a brake and a compensator, and we refer to the unit in question as a Tactical Brake. It does a great job at reducing muzzle climb, but it is in no way comparable to a dedicated flash suppressor in regards to that capacity. If anything, it enhances flash signature due to its design.
