| i just purchased a magpul collapsable moe buttstock and it seems "sloppier" than my factory rra buttstock any way to tighten it up without having to send it back and spending an extra $50 for a ctr. everyone says it should be a tighter fit than my factory stock but it is not. Also i purchased a rock river tactical muzzle brake to help out with muzzle climb, i have not had a chance to hit the range with it yet but my local gun shop seems to think that i wasted my money told my i should have purchased a vortex flash hider instead. They said that particular brake is a piece of crap. Did i screw up or are they mad that i did not buy it from them. I am on a limited budget so it is hard for me to keep up with the rich kids as far as accessories go. Any input would be greatly appreciated |

Can't speak to the fit of an individual stock...sorry.
The Tac Brake is excellent at reducing muzzle rise, but is loud and creates quite a side blast. A Smith Vortex flash hider is excellent for flash suppression, but does nothing for muzzle climb or recoil reduction. Steve/RRA |

Did you get a commerical stock by mistake (assuming you have a mil-spec buffer tube)? +1 That was my first thought. The shop is probably just upset, they are in business to sell whats on their shelves, if they wanted you to keep up with the "rich kids" they'd have told you to order a BattleComp or something. |

| go with the ctr . I have well over 1000 rounds through my rock river 458 socom and it locks up solid as a drum . I also have one on a johnny cash carbine ( I built it one piece at a time ) and used it to beat a coyote to death no problemo . I wanted the fur and didnt want to shoot it again. |
