| I have a very nicely built rifle (built for self-defense and just fun), but am looking for a second upper for prairie dogs. Most shots are under 250 yards. I have looked at all the different models with the EOP upper (varmint & coyote) that RRA has to offer, but don't know which would be a better way to go. I don't do a lot of walking. We usually find a nice spot on a hill and just wait for them to pop up. I will be using a 4x12 or a higher power with a bipod. I will be shooting 55 grain or lighter loads |

Their RRA cantalever mounts are slick. I only have the Scout mount on that rifle above as when I bought it RRA had not marketed the cantalever mounts yet. Their older non-cantalever mount/ring setup has the same problem as the EOP... doesn't allow the scope to go far enough forward.
I bought a bunch of RRA cantalever mounts the other day. They are a great American made value. |
