I just purchased a half quad rail for my new upper but I can't figure out what tool to use to tighten up the ring nut so the rail stops turning on the barrel nut.  Any help would be appreciated.

I wish my front sight base pins would come out as easily as theirs did in the video. I'll never buy another upper assembly with taper pins.

Better to have pins that are difficult to remove than to have self-removing pins.

Definitely. I just won't buy any more uppers with pinned sights when I plan to permanently remove them. Lesson learned.

I have no problem free floating a barrel, I just don't have the proper tool to tighten the new half quad rail hand guard lock nut against the hand guard to keep it from turning on the barrel nut.  I would assume that RRA has a specific wrench, but I don't see it on the web site.

There seems to be nothing on this hand guard to index the rail like others that I have dealt with, and even though I have tightened the locking nut up, it still will turn by hand.  The only thing that I can think to due is to apply some thread lock.  Unless there is something else that I am missing, I do not like the design of this half quad rail.

You need the YHM wrench.

Cool, I think that I have one of those somewhere in my basement...I will give it a try when I get back in town.
