| When is the last time anyone has taken delivery of one of these rifles? I am at 30 weeks now and on hold. Who's got them on order and when did you order? |
| As I noted in the "Post your Arrival Times" thread, I ordered a Predator Pursuit complete rifle ( bead blasted barrel only option) from Class 3 Weapons, the RRA factory order date was 12/13/08. When I ordered , I was told to estimate a minimum of 20 weeks wait time. After two e-mails to Sarah ( posted in the arrival times thread) this week, no luck in getting any specific information from RRA regards PP production or shipping estimates, only generic feedback like barrels are the big holdup and wait times can be 3 -12 months. The Class 3 Weapons WEB site lists actual delivery time for PP rifles ordered after Nov 4 as 20 weeks minimum which gave me false hope that I may be getting close to taking delivery of my new PP. I have not seen where any PP rifle has been received on this forum since last Nov (~ 7 months), and based on what little feedback I got from RRA, I believe realistic wait times for PP is more like 9 -12 months. If the Class 3 actual delivery times are credible, they must have received some number of PP rifles since Nov 4. I am going to call John @ Class 3 next week to ask when and how many PP rifles they have received since Nov 4, 2008. At this point, I'm going to stay in this for the long haul, but the situation really sucks. |
| hey that is good news... wait I should clarify... it is bad news that they are backlogged to Octover 2008 still BUT it is good news that at least we have some idea of where they stand now. If Sarah will give us an update every couple of weeks that would be great. I think most buyers will be patient as long as we know what is going on. |

I talked by phone with Carol @ Class 3 yesterday, it was delightful to talk to someone who understood customer concerns and tried to be as helpful as possible. She confirmed that they have not taken delivery of any Predator Pursuit rifles since early Nov. They received about 70 RRA guns last week that included a number of RRA varmint models. Carol also said that orders / deposits are starting to slow up a bit, so maybe in a few more months things will get more normal. Barrels are the biggest factor driving what RRA can deliver, and she is thinking a good number of PP builds should be received in next month or two. I would have cancelled my order a month ago if the PP wasn't exactly what I want, so to get a PP I'll just have to wait !!!

| No, still waiting since (12/13/08). I plan on giving Carol @ Class 3 a call once a month to see if she has any info. I think Nov orders for PP have a good chance within next month or so. My order is 12/13/08 so unless RRA builds a big batch big enough to cover PP orders for Nov & Dec, I think I'm looking at 3-4 months of waiting but that is just a guess. |
| well at least it confirms they are still making them. I had heard a rumer that the barrels they use on the pursuits were no longer being made so they were dead in the water. It is a relief to get confirmation they are still getting them out the door. Sounds like I have a long wait still since mine was ordered in Jan. |
jetpig, RRA was doing builds in batches so maybe they are going to get a bunch of pursuits shipped out now. At least I hope so because I was suppost to already have mine and sure don't want to have to wait several more months. It is especially a shame because I had to put 25% deposit on mine several months ago 
Starting to think it would have been smarter for me to order from a vendor who didn't require such a big deposit to order one. That way at least I don't have my money tied up with nothing to show for it for months. |
| I have to figure the popularity of the PP dictates that a month of builds means thousands of rifles. Just from keeping an eye on things, seems each munth of builds is taking 2-3 months depending on supply of parts. One thing for sure is that when the fiasco is all done, this will be one very well armed country! |
I just got an update on my predator pursuit. It was originally suppost to take 18 weeks and now they are telling me it looks like 25 week wait which means I have another month or so to go. Not great but I've waited this long, I can wait another month. Course that new rifle better shoot fantastic after all this waiting

Ok, you are who I need to chat with then because a 6.5 or 6.8 is my next order but I want a HBAR or varmint in stainless 20 or 22 in. You got to let me know what you think of yours. |

I was looking at ordering a 20" SS 6.8 upper from White Oak Armament (would be the same configuration as their 5.56 varmint upper) but decided on the 16" crome lined upper from AR 15 Performance. He is using a 16" match grade Lothar Walters barrel which should shoot half inch groups or less with hand loads. Will be lighter and the crome lined barrel should be more durable. They say 16" is all the 6.8 needs. Will post results of accuracy and load development as soon as I get it put together. Watch for post under the AR Variant link.

| Just got off the phone with John at Class 3 Weapons to get a update on my PP order. John had just got off his weekly phone call with RRA and had this to say. Lack of barrels continue to be the issue, especially chrome line and stainless. John did say that new orders for all AR-15's are much closer to normal now and the back log is being reduced but it is painfully slow due to the barrel shortage across the entire AR-15 industry. Its painful situation but it is what it is, I'm at about 27 weeks and waiting and hoping for some good news before the summer is over. |

I just opened the box on mine and assembled it and I am impressed. I am still waiting on the RRA scope mount before I will get to shoot it though. Any ideas how long the wait is on those now?? I've also got a 24 in varmint and next to it the predator feels like a featherlight. Looking forward to shooting it. |

| I received one of my RRA mounts last week. I ordered 2 of them mid May. I gave it to my dad who is waiting on his upper. I didn't expect to get my PP until late fall and figured the second mount would be here by the time the PP arrived. I didn't realize the RRA mounts were hard to get. |
| Got my PP upper that I ordered from PK firearms today. So that means I will now be cancelling the A4 Varmint upper order I had with RRA. I was tired of waiting and a complete AR in hand is better then waiting more countless months with nothing but a lower. I built up a Smith & Wesson lower with a RRA NM lower kit and it is a nice gun. The fit between my RRA upper and the Smith & Wesson lower is probably one of the tightest I have seen so far. No daylight between them and not a hint of wobble. |
well the good news is we are seeing some predator pursuits are finally shipping now . The bad news is I still haven't got mine yet I ordered mine from a forum sponsor right after the first of the year so am going on my 6th month now and tired of waiting. Maybe not much longer to wait now.

| RRA just finished a batch of PPs, and it seems really inconsistent as to who got them. A friend of mine who is an RRA dealer ordered a complete PP in November and still hasn't gotten it. I ordered a PP upper in January and got a call on Monday saying it's ready to go. |
