I ordered a Lower Parts Kit on 1/1.
I understood that they were in stock when I ordered. Have heard nothing since. CC not charged, no email. Does anyone know how orders are handled at RRA? |
|
Still waiting, but not very long...only been a couple weeks.
Found another (much cheaper) the same day from a private source. RRA's website says online orders are final - no cancelling? I don't want to cancel my order anywho cause I would still like an extra LPK for future reference. I will wait and try to be ever so patient. From the confirmation email I received: NOTE: Once submitted, all orders are final. Any changes in your order requested after submission, including configuration, subs, etc., will result in a $25 reprocessing charge. If there is a Shipping Charge listed above, it is an estimate for UPS Ground shipment. If the Shipping Charge is listed as TBD, shipping charges are To Be Determined. Shipping via U.S. Mail, 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air will vary. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and International destinations will vary. If this is a credit card purchase, charges will appear on your credit card statement from Rock River Arms. Non- exempt Illinois residents are charged 6.75 % sales tax. All NFA rules apply. Not responsible for typographical errors. All prices, availability and specifications are subject to change without notice.
and... Thank you for your online order. Please allow 8-10 weeks delivery for basic .223 upper halves. Please allow 10-12 weeks delivery for basic .223 rifles and kits. Please allow 12-14 weeks delivery for Pro-Series Rifle Packages, 9mm upper halves and rifles and .223/9mm pistols and pistol upper halves. The RRA LAR-8 is in limited production, RRA is filling existing orders in date order from oldest to newest within specific models. LAR-15 .223 stripped lowers and complete lower halves are now shipping within 2 to 4 months. Barrel orders will ship approximately 60-90 days from order date. Accessories and parts will be shipped separately from upper/rifle orders unless otherwise specified. If you have any questions, please call 1-866-980-ROCK (7625) or e-mail [email protected].

I asked the customer service rep about the cancellation fee too. She explained it only applied if your card had already been charged. She cancelled my order with no fee. FYI. UPDATE: Well my order was never cancelled. My CC was charged last week unexpectedly and I received my LPK 5 days later. Oh well, I have an extra stripped receiver that will get built sonner or later. Thanks Rock River Arms for letting my order slip through the cracks. |

I ordered a couple of LPKs and a spring kit and a pin kit and a couple of miscellaneous items from Rock River on 2/19 and I got a ship notification today. Is it going to all be there, or are they going to ship me separate pieces? Oh, on this I got the pins and springs but no LPKs yet. |

] The way people are reporting receiving goods makes me believe they are not going by the older orders first. Rifles or parts thru the website, the orders filled are all over the place... |

The way people are reporting receiving goods makes me believe they are not going by the older orders first. ^ This ^. Ordered bunch of 9mm stuff 11/27 along with a standard LPK. The order confirmation mentioned that items would be shipped separately as they became available. No problem on the 9mm parts as I knew they would be long lead time. But where is my LPK?? An email inquiry a couple weeks ago received a generic "items will ship when they are available" reply. That is apparently not the case.

| I ordered two LPKs /w hogue grips on Jan15, along with two standard adjustable stocks and a stock wrench. I called once last month and got the standard "you'll get them after we ship them" response. I really thought I would have received at least part of the order by now but I'm still waiting. |

I'd bet the LPK's w/ Hogue grips are coming in more slowly since the grips are not your ordinary Hogue grip. Instead of the typical Houge emblem, they have a RRA emblem in it's place. They are probably behind in orders for their "special" RRA hogue grips. ![]() Could also be the upgraded trigger that is the hold up. |
| Ok Im mad at RRA now. I emailed them before I was charged, to cancel my LPK order on Saturday. Well I find out today that they have shipped and charged me for it even though I canceled the order by email. Called several times and finally got ahoild of them to try verbal canceling, but to damn late. I even told them in the email that I didnt get the lower yet so why am I going to need an LPK for a non-existent lower? There are other issues but they dont belong here. This is the last order of buisness I will do with RRA. |

I ordered 2 LPKs from RRA one one 03/07 and the other on 03/12. I was charged on my card for one on 04/07 and the other on 04/08. They should already be enroute. One was a basic LPK and the other had a Houge grip.
From my experience it looks like it is taking about 4 weeks to process LPK orders. |
