I picked up a new lower from a local shop. I noticed that where where 3 white spots near the bolt release area edge. I had thought they might be grease but it seems the finish is missing in these areas. After reading on this sight about anodizing it seems to be that a little cold blue wont do and ultimitly has left me with more questions than answers. So I have to ask. 1. Is it possible the anodizing did not take in this area? 2. Will it get worse? 3. Does this effect the structural integrity of the aluminum/Reciever. The shop is a ways away and Id rather not have to take it back? Thanks |
