Just curious, about what percentage of the rifles you sell are A2s v. A4s? I went in today and ordered a mid-length A2 (w/ lightweight chrome barrel and Magpul CTR stock I guess my interest in the A2 is more nostalgic than anything, but anyhow, just wondering.... ? |

Me too. I'm looking for an old fashioned 20 inch A2. It will be used mainly for punching paper and some hunting. I'm not going to be in a vehicle or clearing rooms in an urban enviroment. I just want a little extra reach. Besides if it's over 300 yards that's what the Garand is for. |

I can hit at 600 all day long with the good ol' plain jane Govt. 20" A-2. No sight batteries to go dead, rugged as a re-bar so those hard whacks that come up in the field don't phase it. If I had to grab ONE AR for SHTF, that is the ONE that I'd pick, (and I've got a lot of HSLD 16's) Lot of good things about the A-2 still, really is a shame it is now considered "Retro" BIGGER_HAMMER
