[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Serial Number Question

I'm filling out my form 1 to make a short barreled rifle. The serial number on my RRA lower shows "CM ?????". Is the "CM" part of the serial number?

Yes....the CM (ACM on the LAR-8s) prefix is part of the serial number.
