Got to work today and found big brown box leaning on my desk. My RRA 6.8 upper is in my hands now. Wnet straight home and put it together the fit and finish are perfect. i love the 6.8 SPC over the dust cover(buy the way how long will that paint hold on through cleaning and hot gas) Well my thanks to all the guys at RRA it was hard to wait 19 weeks but the end product is worth it. Also Q: for Steve I heard the 6.8 has an improved chamber will it handle hot loads such as SSA is making.

Correct about the chamber, and the markings over the port are laser engraved, not painted. It isn't very deep, but shoold last quite a while...but may darken a bit when exposed to "normal" shooting and maintenance. Steve/RRA
