I posted this in the general AR forum but it was suggested I move it here.

I just got a RRA 9mm complete upper. The bolt glides smoothly along its intended path in the upper just like all my other AR's.

When I mount my eotech on the rail and tighten the mounting screw (just tight enough to hold the eotech, not very tight), the bolt binds when moved along its normal path in the upper in the same area as the eotech mounting screw. It is not so tight that the bolt will not travel, but it is tight enough that it takes some effort with my fingers to move.  Will this binding go away after brake-in?

How should I proceed ?

I think my problem is solved.  I cycled the bolt over 700 times manually and it now is much smoother.

That's a little weird.  Ijust tried it with several bolts/uppers/EOTechs, and couldn't duplicate ut under the conditions described.
As long as you're okay with it, I am too.  If you want to send it back in to be checked, I can arrange that as well.
