I have just finished assembling an upper with all RRA parts.  I used a 16 R4 countour barrell, RRA bolt carrier and charging handle, RRA upper receiver, delta ring, and gas tube.

Is it going to matter that the upper receiver does not have the relief cuts/extensions in it like my factory built entry tactical?  Essentially what I did was buld a Entry Tactical with no cuts in the receiver, and I did not think about the cuts until I had already purchased the parts.

While this was fun to do, I think next time I'll just buy a complete rifle from you again, or the kit.  I put this upper on a factory built lower that I purchased from a local dealer and the fit is tight, real tight.  Very hard to get rear pin in, you have to work at it.  Is this normal?, will it loosen up once I shoot it?

By the way my RRA Entry that I purchased through Ron Carter for duty use is running great.  His service was excellent.  My RRA's fit and finish is way better than the New Colt's my department just purchased and my personal.

Thanks,

If you have any feeding issues with what you'll be shooting out of it, you may have to extend the ramps, but otherwise, don't worry about it.  We do it to ensure feeding with just about any bullet type.
