I have asked this before but now I have picts. Last time I was told this was normal unless excesive so is this exceive. I clean this off after most uses and this is what it looks like after 100 rds of 68gr Black hills blue box. I sent the gun in once and had the FSB repined. I only use Black hills ammo and have shoot around 1000rds through it and it has never FTF or FTE but this is a work gun and I don't want to have problems in the future or when I realy need it.

A small amount of gas/carbon leakage is, as you indicated, normal.  There's no o-ring or other seal between the barrel and front sight housing to prevent it from occuring.   The ID of the FSB is only minutely larger than the OD of the bbl at that location (it has to be in order to install the FSB onto the bbl).   Depending on the ammo (especially the powder used and how much of it), you might get more or less.  What the pictures show isn't excessive in any way and not something to be alarmed by, in my opinion.  If it isn't effecting function now, that shouldn't change over time as you're not etching or removing material from either piece...just pushing some gas and carbon through a gap..the path of least resistance for a negligible fraction of the the gas available at that location, at that time in the firing cycle.
Thanks.
