Well, I have my RRA 308, M/L on order or should I say I am on the waiting list....but anyway this past weekend I had the oportunity to hold a 16" M/L DPMS and at the range shot a fellow shooters Bushmaster and I was impressed with the size and feel of both and the very light recoil of the BM.... Is it safe to say the RRA 308 will be the same size as both of these rifles, I mean is there a standard here, like all AR's are the same size, same feel, same BBl length of course... Thanks, Bronc |

Bronc, It will be similar to the Bushie that you tried...as theirs were built under license from our design, drawings, and patented materials. There really is no "standard" for the .308s as every company went their own path in deciding how to make them, what feature to include or not include, what mag to use, what styles to offer, etc.... Even size varies a bit from manufacturer to manufacturer...we all had to add length to accomodate the larger magwells, but different lengths, and some also have extra length elsewhere. Weight is different from model to model within a given manufacturer's range of product, let alone between manufacturers, due mostly to the receivers and barrels being different. Steve/RRA |
