Gentlemen: I am interested in the Pro Series TASC model and was wondering if there are any opinions on this rifle and the EOTech 511 that comes with it. Any help would be appreciated. Charles |

If you want all of those extras as shown, then it is a good rifle for you. It is the same basic rifle as the others but with a fixed package of extras. The receiver, national match trigger, Hogue rubber grip and 6 position buttstock are the same as on my Elite CAR. My Elite CAR has the same Surefire Quadrails on it as the PS TASC and an EOTech. It works very well with that setup. I did not care for the other extras on the PS TASC such as the Smith Vortex flash hider and the graphite foregrip. I got my rig for about $500 cheaper without those features and they look almost identical except for the aforementioned flash hider, foregrip and my EOTech is mounted atop of the Dominator Rail instead of on in front of the A2 sight on the cantilever mount. It all depends on what you want since the basic rifle is the same. Either way you go, it will be a shooter. The rifle will be accurate and function perfectly, the fit on the rifle is great and the EOTech makes for quick target acquisition. |
