Just got a new RRA Entry Tactical. I would like to put a aimpoint comp 2 or 3 on the top of the carry handle and have it cowitness. Can I use the carry handle as is? Or do I need to replace it with something else so everything will line up right. Thanks for any help. Danelizer |

Which handle do you have? For the Tactical Carry Handle, you won't get perfect co-witness, but lower third if youuse an extra wide, low ring. Aimpoint used to include it with every optic, but has since opted not to. The Trijicon TA-14 (IIRC) will also work for that purpose. For the A2 carry handle, the only way that I know of to acheive co-witness is to use one fthe adjustable goos neck mounts and whatever ring you want to use. For the Dominator or Dominator 2, any ring that is .25 inches shorter than a standard co-witness ring will work...I like to use ARMS 22M68s on them, with the half-spacer generally. I also like to use either a stand-alone rear sight or a flip-up rear sight with a Comp-M/ML-2 in the Aimpoint QRP ring mount with spacer, both mounted directly to the upper receiver. Steve/RRA |

I have the tactical carry handle assembly with rear sight. So if I take off the handle, put on a flip up rear sight and the Aimpoint comp M2 or 3 with low profile mount it would Co-witness? Or am I missing something here? Thanks for the help and patience. Danelizer. |

To mount directly to the receiver and co-witness with a flip rear sight, you have several options by different manufacturers. Of those available from RRA, the Aimpoint QRP ring with QRP spacer (2 parts) would give you co-witness. You could also go with either of the other Aimpointrings (cantilever or straight) that we catalog, or any number of other mounts available form other manufacturers and/or vendors. Steve/RRA |
