So I was doing some searches and came across a thread stating that RRA buffer tube is not Milspec. I am a proud owner of a RRA Entry tactical and I think the rifle is great, really great. However I was wondering why the decision to not use a milspec buffer? I was thinking of getting a VLTOR stock but I have read in threads that the one that comes with my RRA will be too big and it will not fit. If this is the case, can you please let me know what you would reccommend for replacement so I can get a VLTOR?

Thanks for your time

The industry standard when we started making stocks ten years ago (and continues to be in most cases) the commercial tube diameter tube. At the time, there were no after-market stocks that used the "Colt"-spec receiver extension, and no real demand for them, either.  The buffers and springs are fully interchangeable.
If you're getting a VLTOR repalcement stock, I would order the VLTOR kit that comes with their extension so you have it all at once.
