| Hi, I was wondering how the rifle length aluminum float tube attaches. Does it screw into a special barrel nut and use a lock ring to keep it secure like a YHM rail, or is there some other method? Thanks, MJD. |

Two different styles in play right now....one just like you described (out of stock, may or may not make more) and a single piece unit that we've used for years and incorporates the nut as an integral part of the tube...spin it on, torque it down (lined up with hole for gas tube in receiver) and then drill the hole for the stud, if it gets one, after the fact in a special fixture we have made for that task.
