While I love my RRA CAR A4 Flat Top, I regret buying the RRA stand alone rear sight to put on it. It sits WAY too high. Oringinally intending to put an EoTech on it, I figured the stand alone would be fine. But now, I've decided to put a scope instead of an EoTech and can't seem to find one that will sit high enough to clear the rear sight, yet still give me a comfortable cheek rest. My original intention was to buy the ARMS flip down rear sight, which would have worked for me now that I'm looking for a scope...I should have stuck to the original plan. This, by the way, is not intended as a critism of RRA...I love my rifle. Instead, it's meant as a warning to everyone else to look, think, and make the correct decision before buying. |
