Hi Steve, I just received a automated phone call from U.P.S. saying my RRA upper is on the truck and scheduled for delivery today. The phone call was a reminder that the package must be signed for etc. I wanted to state my preference for an email notification with tracking info a FEW days in advance of the delivery day. I can imagine you want to use a system of ship notification that does not require your customers use email but it would be nice to have a choice when ordering. As it is the phone call is useless to me... it is too late to schedule a free day to wait for delivery and when I get back from todays job (I am a contractor with a flexible schedule) I will see the "yellow slip" that indicates UPS was unable to leave my package (which is what they normally do for me). The last minute phone notification serves as no advantage and is not helpful... its funtioning more as a CYA procedure. In any event the upper has been assembled and shipped ahead of schedule..... COOL! Thanks for listening, mike |

We've tried integrating our internal system and the UPS shipping system to provide just what you're asking for, and it had some glitches that the software folks are trying to work out. believe me when I say that we would like to be able to provide that information to you sooner than later as well.
