The problem is that I'm in NJ and I need AWB compliant rifle, but I do not want that stupid fake pressed on brake which will get in a way of future handguard upgrades therefore I want the following: RRA Elite CAR A4 without any handles, just flat top with VARMINT SS 18" barrel with NO A2 front sights, just the weaver gas block that it comes with. AWB Compliant to make the butt stock fixed as varmint barrel is not threaded anyways nor does it come with a lug nut. Idealy I want it to be shipped with either the standard mid-length handguards or no handguards at all as I want to install free float LARUE handguards. I just want a SS 18" barrel, non threaded, without A2 sights, just gas block. I don't want the stupid fake pressed on brake which will get in the way of future handguards upgrades, damn NJ with it's own AWB law. P.S: The Elite CAR A4 has a mid-length gas system right? If ordered without the handle the only difference between a standard mid-length A4 is the buttstock and the houge grip? Right? |

You might be better off just going with a Varmint A4 in 18". Sub on an AWB compliant non-collapsible stock if you want when you oreder it. Then all you'll have to do when you switch to the Larue is open up it's bbl nut, then remove the gas system and handguard from the varmint, install the Larue, and reinstall the gas system. That way you have the flat top, the Hogue pistol grip, and the star safety like you would on an Elite and you're pretty close to what you want to end up with. BTW, the only barrel we did with the press-on faux suppressor was on our AWB Entry Tacticals. We normally just threaded on , then pinned and welded a muzzle brake. Thanks. Steve/RRA |
