Steve, Was wondering if you could tell me if the detachable front sight you sell is to be mounted to the quad rail, or if it has to be lower on the gas block. I have a railed gas block, but the rail of the gas block is the same height as the quad rail. Will this work, or will it seriously throw off my height adjustments? Thanks, Blackboot. |

Our detachable front sight is made for use on the gas block. Using it at the rail height would not work. The only non-folding detachable front sight that I'm familiar with that would mount to the quad rail at the correct height is one made by Yankee Hill (YHM-9830A), but we don't carry it.
