Hi,

Does RRA use the standard 1/2x28 muzzle threading?

    Thanks.

Thats a good question.   Now as far as your developement on the 6.8 rifles are you going to be using the 5/8-24 thats on the .308 rifles.?  I wound up with a Shaw barrel that was threaded to 1/2-36 and it was a PITA because most of the muzzel devices for 6.8 are threaded to 5/8-24.  I guess Shaw, or the company they made it for did this so it could use the 9mm muzzel devices, which is what I wound up using.  But it was still a little frustrating.

Actually, the 6.8s with the 1/2-36 were set up to use the flash hiders from the 7.62x39....I got one a year and a half ago, and I had asked that question when I got it.
We're still working on ours, but I believe that 5/8-24 will be where we go, when we get there.

Now that you mention it, I believe the 7.62x39 topic did come up.  I talked to a rep at Smith Enterprises  and we decided to go the 9mm Vortex route.  It worked good for about 6 rounds until the chamber pressure issues took over and started blowing the primers out.  Another thing I'm a little upset with the Shaw barrel over.  SSA hooked me up with some ammo that should run in it now.  I still havn't cleared the last jam though.
