That's a loaded question.
Ring height varies by maker as there is no agreed upon heights within the industry. 32mm shouldn't be a problem with a medium or low ring, but going low can cause you to crane your neck over...you want the mid point of the ring (and by extension, the optic) at the point where you're comfortable and have a proper cheekweld.
The next problem is with eye relief...depending on what you need, you may have to use a scout mount to push the scope forward to gain the eye relief and/or get the front ring onto a mounting surface if you run out of receiver before scope body. If you go to the extended mount, then that will have an impact on ring height.
Then you have to decide if you want standard rings or some sort of quick disconnect/change model.
I personally have just about everything in A.R.M.S. quick release rings of varying heights, some mounted directly to receivers, others to various intermediate mounting surfaces.
