I am waiting on a new 'custom' RRA 16" middy from one of the dealers here on AR15.COM, and after asking him for an ETA on my rifle, all he says is he'll call when it is enroute to my FFL.  I dont want to keep bothering him either.

So, if you can say, what is the average factory to dealer time for a complete unit these days?

Thanks in adv.

Thanx for moving this to the proper area Wilson.

My appologies to the Mods.

RRA guys,

I saw in another thread that average delivery time is 30 days or less depending on the build.  Is that assesment still valid?

What Im waiting for is a 16" mid-length with permanent A2 carry handle, standard bolt grp, A2 FH, no 'US Property' lower (I went through Pete @ legal-transfers, but didnt want the gubbmint stamp on my rifle), 2 stage NM, and 6 pos stock.  Really the only thing 'odd' about this build is the permanent carry handle.

In any event, thanks and Im sure Ill be pleased when ever it does arrive.

Nothing odd abut an A2...we still sell a lot of them.
Two to four weeks is still a valid figure, on average. We build to order, to give the customer what they want, so there aren't a lot of rifles "on the shelves" and ready to go at any one time, although we are striving to build shelf stock of common models to be able to ship faster.  It just takes time.
Thanks for asking, and I'm sure you'll be happy with you rifle.
Steve/RRA

PS Wilson...Thanks for moving this post.  I try to look around through different parts of the board but concentrate my efforts here.
