I have a 6.5 Grendel barrel, bolt & gas tube that I ordered on Monday the 2nd.
Brownells shipped it via FedEx "Smartpost". I saw that the package made it to Memphis, TN on Tuesday the 3rd.
Normally, with regular FedEx or UPS Brown Label, I'll get a package delivered the next day to Pascagoula, MS. or Mobile, AL.
So, Wednesday the 4th it goes to Kennesaw, GA. ( North Atlanta area ) and Thursday into Ellenwood, GA. ( South Atlanta area ). Wasted a whole day going about 30 miles across town.
As of Thursday the 5th, it's still in Ellenwood, GA and projected to be delivered on Tuesday the 10th.

If it had shipped ground via either UPS or FedEx, It would have been delivered no later than Thursday.
I don't know who reaped the benefits of switching to this vastly inferior service at Brownells Corporate Office, but the customers are getting SCREWED.
"Upgrading" to regular ground shipping shouldn't be more than a a couple of dollars for small orders like what I had. It's worth the extra few bucks.
Brownells Corporate may want to examine how Amazon runs their Prime Shipping, because it's a hundred times more efficient than this Smartpost / Mail Innovations trash.
Amazon has proven that if you get the products to the customers quickly, the customers will spend plenty of money.
Right now, Brownells is one of the last places I check for parts and supplies because of the shipping issues.
