| Thank you marc for answering BOTH of my questions. I decided to have them replaced since it is not normal, so I went ahead and called brownells customer service & they said to send them back & if they were deemed defective they would exchange the magazines and also refund the return shipping cost. Everybody has been real nice & I am going to roll the dice & see if I can get them replaced. I went ahead and paid $25.00 to ship them back & hopeful it don't take months to take care of it. Customer service has been great so far. Hopefully the rest of the exchange process is as smooth. |

12-12 was before the panic...... What are you talking about?!??? 12-12 means they were made in December 2012. It does not mean they were made the 12th of December. The panic started in December most are marked and manufactured in December, Is this normal? Does your look like this? Thanks for looking at your brownell mags for me. Maybe brownells will answer my questions before two many "basher's" chime in. "Basher's" please don't respond unless you have something productive to add to the thread. Is it normal for people on ar15.com to "bash" you instead of helping you? So you say 48/50 have the gap, and you also say they are marked 11-12 and 12-12....so unless you only had 2 from 11-12, and they happen to be the only two w/o gaps, then its safe to assume the panic didn't affect it. |

You don't think that mags that were manufactured in November that under normal circumstances brownells would of never shipped out went ahead and shipped anyway? I think mag production was ramped up after the James Holmes deal. After that is when I purchased my pmags & a lot of my friends purchased after that to, so I think the manufacture's has been pumping them out since the movie theater deal. Hey thanks for checking your brownells mags for me, A real help. Oh you like the big color font, two can do that... How about you stop bitching and arguing with members on an internet website and actually contact the manufacturer? Wouldnt that be a better use of your time? |

I am trying to get help & I have contacted brownells. Another example of a "basher" instead of helping you the want to "argue" with you!!!! Again thanks for looking at your brownells mags for me, You have really contributed to this thread, We need more people like you on here!!! Thanks for nothing!!! Dude, its the internet, quit being so sensitive. They will shoot fine, you will never shoot all 50. If you don't like it contact brownells. Be prepared to wait months upon months though. This issue is not a problem, and it surely doesn't require its own thread and the bombing of other mag threads. oh yea.... How do you like my sweet big and red font? |

I need help with my new usgi brownells mags. Please help. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_2_333/233959_Brownells_USGI_30_round_magazines__question_about_quality_control__First_time_owner__is_this_normal_.html Take the advice from that thread and contact Brownells. I have contacted brownells a week ago & I am waiting for them to respond. Do you think they need replaced? Do you think they will replace them if I bought them from a gun show? Have you had any experience with replacing mags under warranty? Do they ask for a brownells receipt? Pick up the phone and call them, Chief. My guess is they will replace them, but I don't work there. |
